How was the idea of Bel Moda born?

Bel Moda officially started towards the end of 2021, with the ambition to provide our beautiful women with high quality clothing, shoes and accessories at a reasonable price. It was created Giulia and Mandla Ndlovu, who believed that their ‘fusion’ of Italian fleur and South African Vibrancy could be transferred to fashion, and they wanted to tell their story through the language of fashion.

What is Bel Moda Vision?

 To make every African woman feel charming and confident by accessing authentic and timeless clothing, shoes collections and accessories.

What do we believe in at Bel Moda?
We believe that access to quality fashion should be broader.

We believe in equal opportunities for many.
We believe in a multi-cultural world where there are no barriers. We believe that access to fashion strengthens self-confidence.

Where are the Bel Moda ranges manufactured, and what materials are used?
Bel Moda only uses the best quality Italian materials (leather, linen, silk, etc.), with clear provenance certificates. In terms of manufacturing, first of all all Bel Moda products are hand-made. Currently, the Swarovski sandals and the Linen clothing are made in Italy by handocraft artisans, whilst the silk shoes are made in South Africa using Italian silk.
Bel Moda is committed to the local South African community and they intend to manifacture more of their range locally, as much as it is possible.
Finally, Bel Moda cares about the environment: their bags are made of 100% recyclable PET by the renowned Viro Bag company in Durban.
Can Bel Moda offer completely tailor made items (size, colours, patterns etc.)?
This is certainly possible, it will take 6-8 weeks to deliver at a possible extra cost, depending on availability and schedule.
